Tired of a lack of team cohesion?
Worried about finding the time to bring your team together?
Frustrated with a lack of ownership within your team?
Drained from a feeling of always running out of time?
People-First Leadership is doing things differently…
Ever feel like things are stacked against you at work? The majority of our environments aren't designed to help humans work to their best. People-first leadership qualities, that aligns with service and stewardship, as well as really knowing what's going on around your team, takes the team from survive to thrive.
When you operate this way, which is different, you're not struggling with fear of failure, losing respect, or the dread of making a mistake. Instead you have trust, you're getting as much information as humanly possible all the time and involving people in the decision making. This produces an environment designed to evolve and your team works together for everyone to succeed. There's a clear path, clear expectations about how you treat each other. It gives you permission to lead from a heart of grace that genuinely wants people to be respected and considered.
So welcome to the Living Workplace podcast. I'm Josey. It's a no brainer for me. People First leadership is worth diving into. Following is what I have to help you improve team performance through People First leadership and why.
After learning some appalling stats about how most of us experience our workplace, I decided to be seen, flaws and by refining a method and principles that was at the core of the biggest team I've experienced. The method was simple in hindsight, no certification, no reading piles of books or stitching multiple theories together, no confusion about what to do first.
A combination of basic tools, research and what worked for me in the past. Just what we needed to see the conditions around a fractured team and embark on a journey together to get us where we all needed to be, ahead of the business and its growth.
The Olive Tree method is this framework, looking at the conditions around your team, ready to go and be implemented in your workplace today.
The podcast is designed to support everyone's learning by looking at behaviors, provide insight and techniques, in key areas of teamwork from a people first perspective. It's building you up to be confident in what you observe and how to improve everyone's experience together. The keys to high performance and team cohesion are here.
So digging into the conditions and supporting behaviors and expectations.
A free leadership self-assessment is available at the main website and that will help you get started. You'll see where you are with your team right now and ideas to support the areas that need it the most.
The website for everything is theolivetreemethod.com
I truly believe when we're given the opportunity to rise we do and allowing people to bring themselves into the room not a formed work identity, changes motivation and focus.
Good energy flows into doing better, not just getting through the work.
People first leadership is a better way to have a better day.
I've lived it, seen it and felt it and I can't wait to share it with you. If you're ready to lead differently, I am so glad you're here.
